畢業設計就像是結婚一般,是時間軸上的節點,一個值得慶祝的節慶。而面對設計,能有愉快的態度亦是一樁喜事,好似棚架下的空間,擺設著一張張的圓桌,等待著人們聚集而來,閒話家常,使棚架如此的建築元素,逐漸成為人們聚集的集體意識,跟隨著辦桌、喜宴等傳統,蔓延到人的生活之中。
『色彩奪目的棚架已搭起!我們與教授相聚討論、思考,激盪出各種美好願景,以模型為食,設計為酒,逐漸炒熱這不凡的棚下空間。廚師細心調理菜餚,而我們則創造出不凡的建築空間。』

Our Celebration of Graduate Thesis Design Project
Graduate thesis design project is just like a wedding ceremony, when we meet the point of time to celebrate it. And doing design project is as exciting as a space under scaffolding, with round tables surrounding, waiting people to gather together and having a great conversation. Making this architectural element of scaffolding become a meaningful place to huddle in public, spreading into people's heart through the roadside banquet, traditional wedding.
“Brightly colored scaffolding has been built! Discuss with professor, think all of the beautiful vision, and bring out our model as food, and our design as wine, gradually shed sizzling over this extraordinary space. While the chef is making deliberately cooked food, we are thoroughly creating an extraordinary architectural space.”
Finally, our celebration is about to start! As a chef of architecture, we proudly bring out our finest architectural cuisine, and cordially invite you in this busy graduation season to join our architecture exhibition festival!

建築生涯,漫長又充滿挑戰,作為建築新鮮人,我們需要您的支持與鼓勵,見證我們四年來嘔心瀝血的理想。為了端上美味的佳餚,四年中我們不只投入精力鑽研,亦負擔了許多金錢壓力(畢業設計模型製作與出圖費用:平均每位學生需負擔大約40,000元),而畢業作品專刊印製、出版費用(約170,000元)與設計展覽之費用(約200,000元)也是一大開銷,對於求學階段的我們實在很難負擔。因此希望可以獲得各方援助,能順利出版作品專刊,讓更多的人得以看到且收藏我們努力、豐碩的設計成果。
However, We need your help!
In order to realize our dream of becoming professional architects, we walk on this long and challenging path. As an architectural student, we have not only spent our time on fostering architectural knowledge and skills. But also invested great amount of money in the field throughout our university life (graduation design model making and poster printing cost for approximately 40,000NTD per student). After all, to present our architectural design in portfolio (approx. 170,000 NTD) and graduation exhibition (approx. 200,000 NTD) as an archi-freshman, we sincerely need your support, so it can be successfully published and people can see the effort we made through this design results.

我們是來自台灣科技大學建築系四年級的學生,
在四年的建築學習路程裡,
我們學習思考建築的定位,其所介入都市、自然和未來的方式與問題,
藉由一堂堂專業課程的累積,學習業界先輩之經驗與哲理,
培養獨到的思辨之腦、觀察之眼和實踐之手,
在最後一年,專研現今社會與建築的各種關係,並且大膽提出批判,
用自身的專業,嘗試傳遞我們對於議題的省思與遠見。
經歷一年反覆的探索與掙扎,對議題深入的討論及設計思考後,
期待在六月舉辦的這一場盛宴中展現出來,
藉由我們的調理,希望能讓在場所有嘉賓都能逐漸瞭解身旁議題,與建築之間的關係。
Technology Architecture Department (TTDA)
We are the final year bachelor students from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology Architecture Department (TTDA).
In these four years, we have been indulging ourselves in learning architectural design, finding design solutions and cultivating our professional abilities.
Improvements to the living conditions of underprivileged groups, reuse of old structures or historical and cultural heritages, urban planning and also environmental issues are mainly the topics and design concepts of our final year thesis.
After one whole year of discovering, struggles and uncountable discussions, critiques and redesign processes, we propose our ideas, solutions and realize our imagination regarding these topics.
In this coming June 2016, each of us is going to present our very best of graduate thesis design project cuisine by holding a feast.
By enjoying the architectural banquet prepared by us wholeheartedly, we hope that all of the guests can gradually understand society issues nowadays, and their correlation to architecture.

綜觀現今社會,發現了許多不可漠視的議題,好比一個個「食材」,傳統文化與產業的消逝、外來文化與本地的衝突、風光已不復在的歷史建築、對於土地的情懷與記憶、對於未來社會與建築的走向…等,我們將未經雕琢的「食材」一刀一劃,一沾一黏,經過一年的時間,讓每個「食材」搖身一變,成為令人食指大動的美味佳餚。
Society issues nowadays bring us many issues, such as the extinction of traditional culture and industry, foreign culture and local conflicts, the usage of abandoned historical building, the strong feeling towards unforgettable childhood memories, and the vision of futuristic building and societies, etc., We will make them thoroughly in every slice every stir, and serving the best dishes within a year.
l 四大議題,分別提出在建築空間上的調理想像 :
-弱勢族群(單親家庭、老人安養、外籍勞工等)
-文化保留(古蹟再利用、眷村文化、文化廣場等)
-都市規劃(傳統街市、橋下空間、都市綠帶等)
-環境議題(自然工法、地球暖化等)
l Four issues that are proposed in the architectural spaceimagination:
-Underprivileged groups (Single-parent families, elderly nursing, foreign workers, etc.)
-Reuse of old structures or historical and cultural heritages (Monuments reuse, military community culture, cultural plaza, etc.)
-Urban planning (Traditional markets, the space under the bridge, urban green space, etc.)
-Environmental issues (Man-made nature, global warming, etc.)

Under the guidance of professionals, and hard works that we made for a whole year, we finally present to you our finest cuisine! Our graduate design project is just like our first honored dishes, and we wish people can taste all of our hard works and efforts.
After a year of practices for the creation of a perfect recipe, each dishes is unique. Furthermore, the secret recipe has been written in this book- graduation portfolio. Even though you do not have any architectural background, but we still live in the same world, same community, and we will share our “secret ingredients” for you to taste it.
